* Volleyball: Spring Creek d. Goldsboro 13-25, 25-12, 25-15 -- The Gators' Lexie Reyes handed out five assists. Veronica Martinez supplied four aces and four kills.
* Volleyball: Rosewood d. North Duplin 25-15, 25-21 -- Callie Thornton finished with six kills for the Eagles. Kayla Hardee added five assists.
Middle schools
* Soccer: Wayne Christian 5, Cape Fear Christian 0 -- Sawyer Hudson scored two goals for the Eagles. Holden Jones, Holden Foster and Stephen Clark each scored a goal apiece.
