Just three games were completed.

In other contests:

* Cleveland (5-1 overall, 2-0 Eastern Carolina Conference) at Southern Wayne (4-1, 0-1): Lightning struck a transformer and caused a power outage at the Doyle Whitfield Athletic Complex in Dudley. The game has been rescheduled for Monday at 7 p.m.

* Rosewood (3-2 overall, 0-0 Carolina Conference) at Ayden-Grifton (4-1, 0-0): The state-ranked Chargers led 13-0 with 3:46 remaining before halftime when play was suspended. The game resumes Monday at 7 p.m. It is the Carolina 1-A Conference opener for both teams.

* Triton (5-1, 2-0 ECC) at North Lenoir (1-5, 0-2): Triton owned a 7-0 advantage with 6:46 remaining in the first quarter when play was suspended at Bullock Field. The game will resume Monday at 7 p.m.

* James Kenan (2-3 overall, 2-0 Tri-County 1-A Conference) at Pender (2-3, 1-1): The Tri-County 1-A Conference foes battled to a scoreless through 151/2 minutes of play. The Patriots had the ball at the Tigers' 20-yard line with 8:04 remaining until halftime when officials halted the contest. The game resumes Monday at 7 p.m.
