EW-Goldsboro game moved to Thursday

The Goldsboro-Eastern Wayne varsity football game scheduled for Friday has been moved to Thursday.
Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. at Little Big Horn on the Eastern Wayne HS campus.
Warriors athletics director Jabo Fulghum made the announcement Tuesday afternoon due to the possibility of Hurricane Irene hitting the North Carolina coast sometime either Friday evening or early Saturday morning.
"We'd rather err on the side of caution,: said Fulghum.
The Goldsboro-EW junior varsity football game has been changed to Wednesday. Kickoff is 7 p.m. at Cougar Stadium.
