Rosewood diamond 9 battle past Fike

WILSON -- John Winslow provided one inning of two-strikeout relief, and earned the save in Rosewood's 15-13, non-conference triumph over Wilson Fike on Friday afternoon.
Winslow relieved bullpen mate Will Winslow, who tossed two-plus innings and surrendered five runs on five hits and five walks. Starting pitcher Garrett Burns permitted eight runs on nine hits and one walk in three-plus innings.
Jonathan Franks (RBI) and Ian Speight paced the Rosewood offense with three hits apiece. Will Winslow contributed two hits, including a solo home run.
Burns and Taylor McGill cranked out two hits apiece, while John Winslow clubbed a two-RBI home run.
