Potter, Duke lead Warriors to shutout over Saints in soccer

DUDLEY -- Eastern Wayne goalies Sidney Potter and Erika Duke combined for their third shutout of the season in a 6-0 conquest of Southern Wayne on Friday evening.
Potter and Duke each had one save.
Captain Jenna Martin scored one goal and recorded an assist for the Warriors, who improved to 3-2-0 overall and 3-0-0 against Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference opposition this season.
Emily Kaspar, Anne Hulse, Jordan Jackson, Brittany Nash and Kaitlin Tallarida also scored. Janielle Daniel had one assist.
The Warriors entertain county archrival C.B. Aycock on Tuesday. Kickoff is 6 p.m. at Little Big Horn.
