Spring Creek boys upend Midway

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Spring Creek used an 8-0, third-quarter run to turn back Midway, 51-41, on Friday evening.
The Gators were paced by Deshar Thomas' 20-point effort. Thomas made five free throws in the final two minutes to seal the contest. Adam Haggerty finished with a double-double -- 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Spring Creek (2-5 overall) travels to Eastern Wayne on Wednesday.
