Wayne Christian girls end three-game losing streak

Wayne Christian's Carly Hightower and Courtney Barrow each hit a pair of crucial free throws in the final minute to preserve a 46-44 win over Crossroads Christian on Friday evening.
The Eagles (2-4 overall) snapped a three-game losing streak.
Kayla Kennedy and Katie Isenhower paced the victors with 13 points each in the win. Barrow added seven points.
Wayne Christian travels to Rocky Mount Academy on Dec. 17.
