Boys' basketball
Wayne Country Day 76, Freedom Christian 66
* Josh Gregory led the Chargers with 27 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists. Tyson Pearson provided 24 points. Brandon McCarter finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks.
Wayne Country Day (5-2 overall) entertains Harrrells Academy tonight.
JV sports
* Boys' basketball: C.B. Aycock 56, Triton 40 -- Cameron Johnson and Michael Williams both scored 15 points for the Golden Falcons. Greg Williams added eight points. Aycock (6-0, 1-0 ECC) visits Northern Nash tonight.
