DUDLEY -- Southern Wayne defeated Spring Creek 13-3 in five innings in non-conference play on Thursday evening.
Madison Davis tossed a complete game for the Saints allowing three earned runs on no hits with nine strikeouts and eight walks.
Kayla Gracyk and Darian Edwards both had two hits for Southern Wayne. Charity Wright, Hope Rose, Brittany Pate and Katy Heirling each collected a hit apiece.
The Saints (4-9 overall) entertain Charles B. Aycock on Tuesday while the Gators visit Rosewood.
