STAN WEST

Stan West, 62, of Fremont, departed this walk of life suddenly, Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. He was reunited with his loving and devoted wife, Debra Pollock West, who went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Aug. 18, 2016.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine St., in Fremont. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
Stan was born March 14, 1956, to the late Preston and Rosa Carter West. He was a member of Fremont Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by a host of close friends and extended family. He was a true friend and will be missed by all.
