Monroe McGowan, 81, Kenansville, died Wednesday at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.
Funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Big Zion AME Zion Church. Burial will be in Devotional Gardens.
Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late Nathan and Joanna McIver McGowan, and husband of Christine McGowan.
Visitation will be 3 to 6 tonight at Garris Funeral Home chapel.
