Janet M. Woodard, 53, died Tuesday at Wayne UNC Health Care after a brief illness.
Graveside service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Jones-Bass Cemetery, 450 Perkins Mill Road, Goldsboro, with the Rev. Bill Cotton officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the residence of David and Tammy Woodard, 1170 Capps Bridge Road.
Surviving are a brother, David Brian Woodard (Tammy); a niece, Sarah Brooke Worley (Stephen); and a nephew, Brian Woodard Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lydia Carole Bass Woodard and Milton David Woodard Jr.
Arrangements are by Evergreen Funeral Home.
