JUDY D. SMITH
March 7, 1962-July 13, 2018
Judy Denise Smith, 56, Pikeville, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center after valiant fight with cancer.
Judy was born in Tennessee March 7, 1962, and was the daughter of Dolores Jordan Smith of Rosewood and the late Billy Smith.
She was a valued employee of Cooper-Standard Automotive in Goldsboro.
Judy brought joy, laughter and love to her family. We were lucky to have her in our lives, and our world was a better place with her in it.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.
The family will gather for a reception following the service at Harvest Fellowship Church, 126 W. Walnut St., Goldsboro, N.C.
In addition to her mother, Judy is survived by her husband, Todd Allen Smith; son, Don Allen Cooke; daughters, Samantha Marie Cooke and Sarah Pelt; stepdaughter, Jerri Ellen Smith; grandchildren, Denise Nichole Cooke and Juan Manuel Garcia; as well as several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brothers, Gerald Smith of Charlotte and Bryan Smith of Rosewood, and twin brother, David Smith of Rosewood.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Harvest Fellowship, 126 W. Walnut St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
