GERALDINE N. ROUSE

Geraldine Noble Rouse, 83, Goldsboro, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel, with I.K. Williamson officiating.
A private interment will be held Thursday at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Geraldine was born Jan. 13, 1935, in Lenoir County to the late John Garland Noble and Janie Howard Faircloth. She was married for 62 years to the late Claude Rouse Jr.
Geraldine was employed for 27 years as a library assistant with Wayne County public schools.
She was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church.
Geraldine is survived by two daughters, Deborah Rouse Bundy and Rhonda Rouse Winslow and husband, Chuck; four grandchildren, Richard Bundy and wife, Kathi, Reid Bundy and wife, Nikki, William Winslow, and John Winslow; and five great-grandchildren, Noah, Violet, Khloe, Emalyn and Jude Bundy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Madison Avenue Baptist Church, 300 S. Madison Ave., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
