Ambert Hood "Turkey" Gillette, 208B E. King St., LaGrange, 82, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 110 a.m. in Ebenezer Baptist Church of LaGrange, with pastor Michael A. Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery of LaGrange.
He was born in Lenoir County Ja. 12, 1936, to the late Richard Gillette and Sarah Hood-Gillette.
Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 6 p.m. in Britt Funeral Home memorial chapel of LaGrange. Tuesday, the family will assemble at the home of Ambert Hood Gillette, 208B E. King St., at 10 a.m. for the funeral procession.
