Shirley Mason Herring, 83, Kinston, died at home June 6.
Funeral will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Gordon Street Christian Church in Kinston.
She was born May 17, 1935, in Clarksburg, W. Va., the daughter of Dale and Margie Mason. She was married to Dr. Charles L. Herring.
She is survived by two children.
A reception will follow the funeral at the church fellowship hall.
