Ronnie Creech, 68, Wilson, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, June 14, 2018, surrounded by his family at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

Homegoing services will be held Sunday, June 17, 2018, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro with Dr. Donald Sauls officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Eureka Cemetery.

Ronnie was born in Johnston County Aug. 30, 1949, to the late Thomas Rupert and Doris Elizabeth Campbell Creech.

He was a member of Faro Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church and a longtime member of the Waynesborough Kiwanis Club as his health permitted, where he served as past president.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dolly Langston Creech; two brothers, Jimmy Creech and wife, Susie, of Rosewood and Timmy Creech and wife, Terri, of Cape Carteret; two sisters, Rose Howell of Pikeville and Susan Bartnick and husband, Heinz, of Chesapeake, Va.; his sisters-in-law, Edna Woodruff and husband, Ernest, of Wilson and Annette Hurdle and husband, Harold, of Wilson; his brother-in-law, Jerry Langston and wife, Kim, of Goldsboro; and several precious nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Creech.

The family wants to say a special thanks to 3HC and Kitty Askins Hospice Center for their great care of Ronnie.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
