KITTY RUBY BARNES EATMON

Kitty Ruby Barnes Eatmon, 89, Dunn, formerly of Princeton, passed away at Betsy Johnson Hospital Sunday, June 17, 2018.
She was lovinlg known as Nanny Ruby to most everyone who knew her.
Mrs. Ruby was born in Johnston County April 6, 1929, to the late Kitty Jesse Barnes and Lizzie Johnson Barnes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jady Eatmon.
The funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at 11 am in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dennis Pollock and the Rev. Glenn McCullen officiating. The burial will take place immediately after the service in Princeton Cemetery.
Mrs. Ruby was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church and sang in the choir.
She worked at Fieldcrest Mills until retirement.
She also catered in this area for several years.
She is survived by her son, Tony Eatmon of Coats; daughters, Diane Willis and her husband, Waylon, of Dunn and Kathy Young and her husband, Terry, of Benson; sister, Grace Sledge of Ocean Isle Beach; grandchildren, Shaun Lee and Tyler Young and wife, Amanda; and great-grandchildren, Austin Lee, Avery Lee, and Henry Young.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Casey Funeral Home chapel and at other times, at the home of Kathy and Terry Young, 1142 N.C. 242 South, Benson, N.C., 27504.
