Mary Louise Wilson Gregory, 90, Nashville, peacefully passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Autumn Care of Nash.

She was born in Laurens County, S.C., on Nov. 23, 1927, to the late Jonah Carson Wilson and Bertha Montjoy Wilson.

Mary was retired from civil service as a clerk typist for Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. She was a member of Providence United Methodist Church in Goldsboro and attended Nashville United Methodist Church. Mary will be remembered for her love of travel and as a loving and generous mother.

A service to celebrate her life will be held in a private setting for the family.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Jackie Gregory Swindell of Nashville, and Mary Ellen Gregory Sebald and husband, Mike, of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Jennifer Eason and James Swindell and wife, Amanda; great-grandchildren, Jay, Jackson, and Ethan Swindell; and her canine companion, Missy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Beasley Gregory; son, Albert M. Gregory; and her six siblings.
