BENNY GRAY CREECH

Benny Gray Creech, 78, died Saturday, March 24, 2018, at UNC Healthcare's SECU Jim and Betsy Bryan Hospice Home in Pittsboro, N.C., due to respiratory failure.
He was born Jan. 4, 1940, to the late William Randolph and Annabelle Aswell Creech in Greene County, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Hunsucker Creech.
He is survived by his five siblings, Jean, Warren, Edward, Kay and Jimmy; two sons, Jason and Adam; and four grandchildren, Chloe, Camilla, Jude and Lola.
He retired from the State Employees' Credit Union, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family, reading library books, having coffee with friends, tackling the hardest of Sudokus and playing golf.
He will be remembered as a kind, selfless and patient man, and will be missed greatly by those he knew.
There will be a private family celebration of his life.
