Dwight David "Dave" Justus, 65, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family Saturday, April 7, 2018.
Dave was born Nov. 11, 1952, in Welch, W.Va., to the late J.C. and Joanne Justus. He was the second out of seven siblings.
Dave was raised in Gallipolis, Ohio, where he enlisted in the United States Air Force, and served for four years at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, S.C.
He retired after 30 years from Bridgestone/Firestone. Dave was the head of the union and maintenance during his devoted years of work.
Dave will be remembered in a memorial service at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Seymour Funeral Home, with pastor Alan Strickland officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service.
Dave is survived by his daughter, Sheree' Justus; former wife, Debbie Justus; brothers, Mike Justus, Don Justus and wife, Paula, Larry Justus and Red Justus and wife, Tina; and sisters, Nanette Justus and Suzette Justus.
Sheree' and her mom would like to give a big THANKS to Community Hospice for the support and compassionate care it provided.
