LOUIS D. YURAITIS

Louis D. Yuraitis, 87, Goldsboro, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at Willow Creek Nursing Home.
Louis was born in Gary, Ind., Oct. 11, 1930, to the late Joseph and Barbara Ann Klein Yuraitis.
He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
Louis began his career and retired with the railroad system, and later retired as a welder with Western Steel in Gary, Ind.
While his health allowed, Louis attended church with his wife at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 25, 2018, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service to celebrate Louis' life at 3 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Sherwood Howell and the Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park with military honors.
Louis is survived by his wife of 61 years, Esther Parks Yuraitis, and several nieces and nephews he loved very much.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Yuraitis.
