Bishop Ernest Odell "E.O." Edwards, 92, 309 Park Ave., died Wednesday at Lenoir UNC Health Care, Kinston.
Funeral is today at 1 p.m. at Hull Road Free Will Baptist Church, Kinston. Burial at Wayne Memorial Park.
He was born in Greene County, to Charity Bullock and Stephen Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Morris Edwards, of the home.
Visitation was Saturday at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, Kinston.
