REID 'RAY' WICE

Reid “Ray” Wice, 83, died Tuesday evening at his home.

Born in Pontiac, Mich., he was the son of the late Walter William and Martha Owen Wice of Glennie, Mich., and was the husband of Beverly Ann Wice.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home from 6 to p.m.

Ray served in the Unit- ed States Air Force for 22 years before retiring.

He also worked at AP Parts and APV Baker until his full retirement.

In addition to his wife, Ray is survived by two sons, Robert R. Wice and wife, Billie Jean, of Cabot, Ark., and Timothy Ray Wice and wife, Car- olyn, of Goldsboro; a daughter, Lee Joyner and husband, Ricky, of Mount Olive; a sister, Jane Hughes of Lansing, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchil- dren.

A daughter, Janice Lynn Green, preceded him in death.
