Mr. James Kelvin Wade, 53, lovingly known by his family and friends as ‘Dula,” 755 Gates Ave., Brooklyn, N.Y., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 at his residence in New York.
“Dula” was born in Kings County, N.Y., July 15, 1964, to the late Mr. Willie Wade and Mrs. Clarice Johnson-Wade.
James was educated in the King’s County, N.Y., public school system.
Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. in Rouse’s Chapel Mission- ary Baptist Church, 4813 Rouse Chapel Road, LaGrange, N.C. Pastor Charles H. Kittrell will officiate.
Interment will follow in LaGrange Memorial Park Cemetery, 295 W. James St., LaGrange, N.C.
Also, a public viewing will be held Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, from 10 to 11 a.m. in Britt Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 414 E. Washington St., LaGrange, N.C.
Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, the family members and friends will assemble at Britt Funeral Home, 414 E. Washington St., LaGrange, N.C., at 12:30 p.m. in preparation for the funeral procession.
