Daphine Hart Brown, 69, Kinston, died Tuesday at Lenoir UNC Health Care.
Funeral was Saturday 3 p.m. at the Church of Faith and Deliverance, Kinston. Burial in Southview Cemetery. Visitation was Friday at the Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home.
She was born on May 23, 1948, in Lenoir County, to Bryant Lee and Nora Mae Smith Hart. She is survived by a son.
