Marceil Gertrude Brown Black, 83, 15500 Cutten Road, Houston, Texas, died Tuesday at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.
Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church of Elizabeth City. Burial will be in Memory Gardens of Elizabeth City.
She was born May 10, 1934, in Pasquotank County to Benjamin and Gertrude Brown.
She is survived by a son.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home.
