Rayland Lee Eatmon, 83, Smithfield, died Thursday in SECU Hospice House.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Ricky Hamm and the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating.
Born Oct. 14, 1933, in Johnston County, he was the son of the late Gar and Ida Grice Eatmon.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Langley Eatmon; a son; and a daughter.
Visitation will follow the service.
