Lessie Naomi Radford McKeel, 91, passed away at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017.
She was born Jan. 19, 1926, to the late Cleveland Haley and Lillie Flowers Radford.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Major, Mangus, Hubert, Bill and Aubrey Radford, as well as one sister, Alberta Mozingo.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, at 7 p.m. in Casey Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Dwayne Batten officiating. The burial will take place Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. in Princeton Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, William R. McKeel Sr.; daughter, Marie McKeel Swann and her husband, Jeff, of Washington; sons, William R. McKeel Jr. and wife, Susie, of Elm City, Robert R. McKeel of Garner and Charles A. McKeel and wife, Christine, of Aiken, S.C.; sister, Christine Peedin of Roanoke Rapids; grandchildren, William McKeel III and wife, Jenna, Jeffrey Swann, Kevin Swann and wife, Brianna, Robby McKeel, Paul McKeel, Kyle McKeel and wife, Alejandra, David McKeel, Alex McKeel and Ashley McKeel; and great-granddaughter, Peyton McKeel.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home chapel.
