James E. Elliott, 82, New York, N.Y., formerly of Wayne County, died Saturday at Mount Sinai Hospital of Manhattan.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. John Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.
Born in Mount Olive, he was the son of the late James and Annie King Elliott.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 tonight at Garris Funeral Home chapel.
