Earlene Barwick Howell, 79, LaGrange, passed away Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. Burial will follow at Princeton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Howell was born in Wayne County March 13, 1938, to the late Major Earl and Mary Carr Barwick. She was the wife of the late Benny Ray Howell Sr.
She is survived by two sons, Timberly "Tim" Vann Howell (Cindy) of Fremont and Benny Ray Howell Jr. and wife, Tracie, of LaGrange; two daughters, Kimberly Synger and husband, Rich, of Dudley and Lynnette Howell and husband, Tim, of Pikeville; one sister, Elnora Brogden of Pikeville; 10 grandchildren, Richie, Jessica, Ashley, Katlyn, Joshua M., Corey, Joshua H., Jamie, Mary Katherine and Julie; nine great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Cindy Potter.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
