MAX E. ESKILDSEN

Max Eugene Eskildsen, 86, Overland Park, Kan., passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Overland Park Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was buried Thursday, July 27, 2017, in the National Cemetery for Veterans in Leavenworth, Kan.

Max was born July 29, 1930, in McAllen, Texas.

He had been a computer programmer for more than 40 years in several states before retiring from the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Kan., in 1995.

Max was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Max Henry and Mary Lucille Rich Eskildsen; his wife, Charlotte; and his only sibling, Paul.

He is survived by his three children, Laura Newsome (David), D. Keith Eskildsen and Sandra Moore (Patrick); by six grandchildren, Natalie Newsome, Emily Vaughan (Thor), Daniel Newsome, Ryan Eskildsen, Blake Colgan (Tabitha) and Dustin Cook; and by four great-grandchildren, Hayden Neal, Caleb Colgan, Olivia Newsome and Jackson Colgan.

All family resides in the Fremont, Goldsboro and Princeton areas.
