Claude Artis, 97, died Monday at Greendale Forest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Snow Hill.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Best Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Snow Hill. Interment will be in Shady Grove Church Cemetery in Snow Hill.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 tonight at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends at 200 Broad St. in Stantonsburg.
