KAY EVERETT CASEY

Kay Everett Casey, 85, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at Willow Creek Nursing Home.

Kay was born in Martin County on July 16, 1932, to the late Leroy Everett and Maggie Davenport Everett. She was married to the late Benjamin Alexander Casey.

Kay worked for 37 years with the Department of the Air Force Civil Service. She was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017, from 1:45 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 3 p.m. in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Kay is survived by her stepdaughters, Barbara C. Herrin of South Carolina and Beverly C. Whiteside of Florida; her grandchildren, Keith Herrin, Kimberly Morales, Megan Casey Phelps, Benjamin Casey, Stephen Casey, Dylan Casey and Aaron Casey; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Kay was preceded in death by a son, John Stephen Casey; brothers, Roy Hilton Everett, Richard Frank Everett and William Norman Everett; and her sisters, Doris Everett Fogle and Gladys Jane LeBlanc.
