Cladye Muse Britton, Goldsboro, departed this life Aug. 1, 2017, at Wayne Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
Mrs. Britton was a retired educator in the Wayne County public school system.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joseph Britton; one daughter, Cassandra Britton Daniels (Jeffrey); two sons, Ronald Britton of New York and Reginald Britton of Goldsboro; one grandson, Reginald Lamar Whitted of Goldsboro; four sisters; two brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 318 Denmark St., Goldsboro, N.C.
Viewing is at 10 a.m., services at 11 a.m.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
