Doris Kay Whitfield, 506 Rollingwood Drive, Dudley, died Friday at her residence.
She was born Sunday, Aug. 9, 1959, to the late Willo and Mary Jane Parks Whitfield
Homegoing services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Greater St. John Free Will Baptist Church. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Jerusalem Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery of Seven Springs.
Her memories are cherished by six sisters, Mary Lois Fowlkes, Willo Jean Jordan and Brenda Allen all of Goldsboro, Mary Lou Whitfield of Silver Spring, Md., and Almenter Pickett and Belinda Whitfield both of Dudley, N.C.; three brothers, Ronald Whitfield of Dudley and Ted Whitfield and Willo Whitfield Jr. both of Goldsboro; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m., at Haskins Funeral Home. The family will assemble at 610 Brogden St., Dudley, in preparation for the funeral cortege.
Arrangements are being handled by Haskins Funeral Home.
