John Durwood "J.D." Pipkin, 67, Kenly, died at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield July 28, 2017
Funeral will be Aug. 6 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service.
He was born Dec. 16, 1949, in Wayne County to the late Edgar Allen and Vera Estelle Beasley "Bay" Pipkin.
He is survived by a son and a daughter.
