Graveside services for Minnie Hardison Matthews, 79, Batesburg, will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Bill Matthews Cemetery, with the Rev. Kevin Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Matthews passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017.
Born in Snow Hill, N.C., she was a daughter of the late William A. and Beadie Hardison.
She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, J.T. Matthews Jr., Leslie Paul McLaughlin Jr. and Travis R. Matthews; daughters, Deborah Vance, Patti Royal and Batina Feaster; sisters, Selma Lanway and Kay Kerney; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Julian T. Matthews Sr., and nine brothers and sisters.
