Thomas Rex Best, 78, Faison, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Community Funeral Home chapel of Warsaw. Burial will be in Devotional Gardens.
He was born in Duplin County to the late Richard Rodney Best and Margaret Louise Swinson Best.
He is survived by a son and a daughter.
Visitation will be 7 to 9 tonight at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw Inc.
