Clifton Bruce Gardner, 71, 540 W. Hill St., died Friday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. Interment will be private.
He was born July 6, 1945, in Wayne County to Penina Waters and Harold Gardner.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Sutton Gardner, and two children.
Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
