Vera Bennett Hair, 60, a resident of Mount Olive, passed away early Tuesday, June 6, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 10, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Jeff Dail, and followed by burial at Wayne Memorial Park.
Visitation will be during the hour before the service.
Vera attended Mount Olive Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She had been an in-home caregiver for many years, working with 3HC. All who knew her will remember that she always had the welfare of her clients at heart.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jonathan Ray Hair, and her parents, Lall Furman Hair and Doris Rackley Hair.
Survivors include a sister, Marie Sutton and husband, Joe, of Mount Olive; three brothers, Michael Korzeniewski and wife, Sandra, of Kinston, Donald Korzeniewski and wife, Patricia, of Greenville and John Hair and wife, Debbie, of Goldsboro; dear friends, Linda and Robbie Quinn and Linda Sutton; and several nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Karizma and Harmony.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to SCCU of Wilmington or Kitty Askins Hospice of Goldsboro.
