David Demarlo Thompson, Dudley, was born Sept. 6, 1981, to David and Delores Darden.
He received his formal education in the Wayne County Public School System.
David transitioned from this earthly life April 23, 2017, at Wayne UNC Healthcare.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Philadelphia Community Church, with Dr. Andre Cannon officiating, and apostle Kathy Lamb will deliver the eulogy.
A public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be present from 5 to 6 p.m.
