Gladys Sylvia Seckington Bass, 79, died Saturday at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount. Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Richard Seckington and Irene Elizabeth Rawlins and wife of the late David Lee Bass.
Graveside service will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Steve Roberson officiating. Visitation will be from 2 until 3 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
She is survived by one child.
