Ruby "Sang-Gal" Kornegay Taylor, 83, 2538 N.C. 903 North, LaGrange, died Monday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Saint James Church of Christ of LaGrange, with Bishop Ronnie Hood officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery of LaGrange.
She was born in Wayne County April 17, 1933, to the late Ben and Lucetta Giles-Kornegay. She was married to the late James "Gus" Taylor.
She is survived by three daughters and a son.
Visitation will be Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. in Saint James Church of Christ. The family will assemble Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the home of Lisia D. Lanier, 2538 N.C. 903 North, for the funeral procession.
