Fred Lane Loy Jr., 72, died Wednesday at Rex Heart and Vascular Center in Raleigh.
Funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will be at Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
He was born in Wayne County Nov. 1, 1944, to the late Fred Lane Sr. and Hazel Underwood Loy.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Kearney Loy, and a son.
Visitation will be 1 to 1:45 p.m. Saturday.
