John Earl Hobbs Sr., 94, of 804 Taylor St., died Thursday at Willow Creek Nursing and Rehab Center.
Funeral will be Wednesday at noon at St. Mark Church of Christ with Bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
He was born Nov. 3, 1922, in Wayne County, to Lula Hobbs. He is survived by his children.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 until 7 p.m. at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
