BARBARA R. RIZZO

Barbara Anne Ruxton Rizzo, 87, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Rizzo was born in Weymouth, Mass. on August 23, 1929, to the late Harold and Ruth Ruxton. She was a longtime resident of Norwood and Plymouth, Massachusetts before moving to Goldsboro.
At her request, no formal service will be held.
Mrs. Rizzo is survived by her husband, Robert L. Rizzo; daughters, Patricia Perkins and husband, Lee of Goldsboro, and Nancy Lyons and husband, Jerry of Barnstable, Mass.; sons, Charles Rizzo and wife, Elizabeth of Goldsboro and Peter Rizzo and wife, Patrice of Wolfeboro, N.H.; grandchildren, Adam, Luke, Mathew, Karli and Peter Rizzo Jr., Sarah Rizzo Bateman and Kelley, Faith and Eric Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Summer and Collin Rizzo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Paul Rizzo.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to 3HC, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534 or the charity of one's choice.
