Danny Joe Wade, 41, passed away Friday at Vidant Inpatient Hospice surrounded by his family. He is the son of the late Joe Wade and Barbara Marie McGinnis Wade Padgett. Danny was employed with Joe Wade Construction.
A funeral service will be held Monday evening at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Goff officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Danny is survived by his daughters, Victoria Renee Wade and Christina Michelle Wade, both of Goldsboro; a sister, Tracy Ferrell and husband, Mercer of Maysville; a brother, Jason Wade and wife, Jennifer of Holly Springs; stepmother, Laura W. Wade; stepfather, Louise Padgett; aunts, Frankye Watson, Jackye Cushing, Judy McDonald, Beverly Dorman and Laura Ellen Fail; and uncle, Butch McGinnis.
