Roger Burnell Norris, 75, Goldsboro, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at his home.
Roger was born in Wayne County, N.C., July 22, 1941, to the late James Burnell Norris and Flossie May Evans Norris.
He had worked for many years as a CNA for several area nursing homes.
Roger was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 3 p.m. in Willow Dale Cemetery. The Rev. John Alex Gonzalez will officiate.
Roger is survived by his sister-in-law, Barbara Norris, and his nephew, Jerry W. Norris.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Sammy James Norris.
