Sandra Jeanne Cole Murphree, 73, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Royal Oak, Mich., Dec. 10, 1943, to Frances Simons Cole and the late William Cole.
Sandra was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Vernon Murphree.
A service celebrating Sandra's life will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at Freedom Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, Sandra is survived by her husband, Robert G. Bizzell; her children, Kevin Murphree of Swartz Creek, Mich., Karin Savage and husband, William, of Kenly and Brian Murphree and wife, Julie, of Grand Blanc, Mich.; brothers, William "Ted" Cole and wife, Carol, of Canada and Stephen Scott Cole and wife, Cheryl, of Warren, Mich.; and 11 grandchildren, Catherine, Joseph, Anna, Hope, Nicole, Michael, Alex, Emma, Matthew, Sarah and Nora.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Gideons International, P.O. Box 10093, Goldsboro, N.C., 27532.
